Here is a picture of how the project started, it wasn’t much the tools used were only a hammer, a drill, tin snips, some nails and some small nuts and bolts.
With these tools we turned this sheet of iron I got from the tip shop for 5 bucks into this so far…
The joins have yet to be waterproofed and then the bracing along the edges needs to go in before the whole thing is painted.

On sunday my friend and I made a kayak out of a sheet of corrugated iron.
I will be uploading pictures of it shortly and an explanation of how we made it.
we look forward to testing it as we aren’t sure if it will float as is.
If this is the case we have several ways to boost the buoyancy of the kayak so I’m sure it will work well eventually.
